 When Marion Goodman, a Realtor specializing in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles area, listed a property for a client who had been living in his home for over 15 years, she knew a Home Stager would make a serious difference in the selling price for her client.  This morning we received a phone call from the seller thanking us for transforming his home into a market ready property that was Staged to sell quickly.
 Being a world traveler, his home was filled to the brim with collections from all over the world.  In addition, his family had passed down all the family heirlooms, which he lovingly displayed.  His home was a perfect example of how they you live in your home is vastly different from the way you market and Stage your house for sale.
 Marion knew that Buyers who came to see this property were going to immediately be drawn to the exotic collections and family antiques in this home and would have great difficulty in appreciating the home itself.  She talked with her client and educated him about the benefits of Home Staging.  He was intrigued and fascinated and asked to meet with us.
  Marion hired us to provide a Staging Consultation Report which helped this homeowner tremendously.  When you live in a home for an extended period of time, it is often difficult to view your home through fresh eyes.  Having a trained Home Stager come in and evaluate what needs to be packed, what can be moved and used in better ways and determine what is great just as it is can be invaluable when preparing your home for sale.
 Marion even took it a step further and hired our crew to return to help with the final touches.  The homeowner had followed the Consultation Report to the greatest detail, so that when we arrived we were able to come in, move some furniture, pull out linens he forgot he owned and transform the home into an open, comfortable and relaxing space that did not overwhelm buyers and made it easy for them to see themselves living there.
 This home quickly sold for the price the seller desired.  The Realtor called and let us know that she was certain that had it not been for the Staging, this home would never have sold  so quickly nor for the price the seller wanted.  But when the seller called to thank us himself, acknowledging the difference we made in helping him achieve his goals, we were thrilled.

This morning I had the opportunity to participate in the Century 21 All Moves “Academy Awards of Real Estate” event.   Ron Prechtl and his team of agents celebrated their individual, team and company successes while also acknowledging how the market is changing.  

Century 21 All Moves is truly a forward thinking company.  Not only did they celebrate their achievements for the past year, but they had a guest speaker, Jim Droz, a top producing agent in the world for Century 21, talk to them all and give them a little more insight as to what helped him become such a success and how they can apply that to their own lives. 

While every agent at Century 21 All Moves is a success in their own rights, Jim really was able to encourage the agents to keep on going in their careers.  His personal story is inspirational and what a dynamic personality to speak to your team.  The Real Estate market here in Los Angeles is changing and these Realtors are making the adjustments necessary to stay on top.
