Feng Shui and Home Staging-A Perfect Combination!

Home Staging is all about creating an environment that showcases your home in its best possible light while reflecting the lifestyle of those who have the opportunity to live in the home.  Feng Shui is about living in harmony with both the natural environment and with the purposeful placment of the home and the items within it. By working with Feng Shui energy, the home can  support and nurture those that reside within.  So what a wonderful combination Feng Shui and Home Staging creates!

Whether you are preparing your home for sale, moving into a new home, or redesigning your home, applying the principles of Feng Shui will guide you to create a home where that will support you in achieving greater peace, better health, improve your relationships, more opportunities to do the things you want to do and enjoy an overall increase in your well being.  As you know, I believe that home staging is vital for everyone and when your home is staged to support your lifestyle and values, adding the punch of power from Feng Shui, your home will become a sanctuary for you.

Evaluate what is happening in your life right now and define for yourself what your goals are.  Once you know where you are going, take a look around your home and office.  Do they reflect your goals and where you want your life to be?  I hope so!  Life is ever evolving, so evaluate your surroundings regularly.  Be sure that you feel good about your surroundings, that your space is fresh, vibrant and peaceful.  As you go through your life, be open to make the changes necessary to keep your path clear for you.

An experienced home stager will help you with preparing your home.  You can find a Feng Shui consultant who can give you greater insight into what may be tripping you up or can help you fine tune your environment for maximum support.  Be good to yourself and keep both prinicples in mind as you work with your home, whether it be for yourself or to prepare it for sale.  And if you can find a home stager that is also a Feng Shui consultant, you have found a winning combination!

Looking for Amazing Lake & Mountain Views Paired with a Gorgeous Home?

I thought I’d update this post as this home will be open today, February 9, 2008 and tomorrow February 10, 2008 from 11-3.

If you’ve been looking for a home with amazing lake and mountain views, this fabulous Lake Isabella home might be just what you’ve been waiting for.  I was up there last week to help with the staging as the home was getting ready to be placed on the market, and we could see the snow covered Sierra’s peeking over the surrounding mountain tops.

This home is approx 3,200 square feet of comfort, is newly built with view from virtually every room.  The owners designed it with three things in mind, enjoying the views, having a perfect combination of an open floor plan in the entertaining areas while maintaining privacy for the bedrooms and making sure the chef would be involved in all the socializing.  But they didn’t stop there…there is a workshop that is just about 780 square feet and a studio with a full bath.

They put a lot of love in this home and it sure shows; of course I am a bit partial since this is my mom’s place :) .  This home is just 2 1/2 hours north of Los Angeles, 45 minutes east of Bakersfield and the area includes all sorts of great amenities including hiking, fishing, boating, skiing, white water rafting, horseback riding, golf, and is close to shopping and restaurants.  If this sounds like it is what you have been looking for, give the agent a call (me).  My contact info is on the details page of the real estate show.
